  • The correct presentation and selection of lures for specific applications.
  • The correct use of all equipment.
  • Specific knowledge regarding Side Imaging and Live Scope
  • The best way to handle and release the fish.
Equipment provided to you:
  • Ranger 620VS with a Yamaha 250
  • Garmin, Lowrance, and Humminbird depthfinders with Lakemaster and Navionics chips. My boat has the latest in Side Imaging and Live Scope technologies
  • Thorne Bros Rods
  • Shimano TRANX, Calcutta 400TE/401TE reels spooled with 80# Cortland Masterbraid.
  • Frabill Big Kahuna landing net and all other release tools.
  • A wide selection of quality lures. I would prefer if lures were not brought, however a small selection is reasonable.
Equipment you will need to bring:
  • Minnesota fishing license
  • Polarized sunglasses
  • Rain gear
  • Comfortable tennis shoes for standing and casting.
  • The correct clothing for the time of year
  • Lunch, but water will be provided. A break is sometimes taken in the afternoon during a full day.
Please do not bring these items:
  • Aerosol bug spray
  • Aerosol sunscreen.
  • Any type of alcohol.
  • Your own casting rod/reel. I have a great selection of equipment for you to use (see above).
